CAHSI

Lecture Series

CAHSI Lecture Series is an effort to promote research and research collaborations. This initiative responds to the CAHSI goal of developing and sustaining competitive academic and research programs at Hispanic Serving Institutions. The objective of the lecture series is to disseminate new developments and research in computing among CAHSI institutions and the computing research community at large. The lectures address contemporary issues in computing as well as advanced research topics in computing. Experts from industry and academia make up the group of professionals that offer the lectures. These professionals donate their time and effort to share valuable information with the CAHSI community and the research community at large. Lectures are typically one hour in length including a Q&A session. These are broadcasted live through video streaming, recorded and archived. The Q&A session combines questions from the onsite audience and from remote viewers through teleconferencing technology.
